About the Nursery ...
We are bedding plant growers who specialise on impulse sales for garden centre
planteria throughout the year.
Ian Hopkins Founded Woodlark Nurseries in January 1964 on the present Hersham
site.
The first crops cut were chrysanthemums and market garden crops, sold to Covent
Gardens and Brentford Market.
In spring 1966 our very first bedding was grown to supply Walton Park Nurseries.
This expanded and our aim is always to grow super quality regardless of the
cost.We serve both independent and chains of garden centres in southern England.
All plants and containers are pre-priced and barcoded.
Deliveries are made on our own transport.
Weekly availability lists are automatically faxed or e-mailed to all our customers,
with a same week or twice weekly delivery service.
Landscape customers are very welcome to visit the nursery to select their own
stock to purchase.
What we grow ...
We grow a wide range of bedding, flowering perennials, patio plants, potted
bulbs, flowering pot plants and popular herbs, in 1 litre and 2 litre pots.
Planted containers and hanging baskets in terracotta, wood and wicker, seasonally
planted, is a massive line for us and we stock over a hundred lines at any one
time.
We grow Poinsettias and do a range of Christmas baskets
