About the Nursery ...
The stand will present a general collection of plants to show the range of sizes and varieties available for amenity and landscape planting.
Set up in 1961, the company now operates on about 60 acres, 20 of which form an extensive container plant unit growing large numbers of plants for the amenity market.
An extensive tree unit is producing trees up to 20 cm girth. Trees are mostly lifted by a Damcon lifter to give good roots. Transplants and whips are also available November to March.
Over the last year the nursery has centralised its activities at Rodwell Farm site and is developing an area specifically geared towards cash and carry customers in order to improve its customer service. To this end it has also gained ISO 9002 registration.
What we grow ...
The nursery supplies a wide range of stock including shrubs, herbaceous, climbers, bulbs, trees, compost and bark mulch It stocks its plants in sizes ranging from normal landscaping sizes to larger containers for landscapers needing instant effect.
