Hagthorne Cottage Nurseries was founded by Isaac Bos in 1966 growing everything from grafted miniature roses and acers to a range of 3 litre shrubs. One of his discoveries was Picea glauca 'Alberta Blue' as a sport of Picea glauca 'Conica'. Following on from his innovative tradition the nursery has evolved into a wholesale cash & carry. Since April 2004 we have traded as Hagthorne Nurseries Limited.

We now supply over 500 landscapers and garden designers across South East England. We are also a popular choice for retail nurseries and garden centres looking for something special. Our plants and trees are top quality and most are hand-picked in Italy, Holland, France and Britain. We stock everything from 1-litre buxus to 4-metre Dicksonia Antarctica, and everything in between.

The atmosphere is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and all our staff do their best to accommodate your requirements. Delivery can be arranged if collection is not possible.
The nursery is attractively laid out, and has become an important destination to bring clients to choose plants for their garden with many "must have!" plants to choose from.
